Jacobs names Richard Sanderson as new Europe and UK chief

Sanderson, a transport planner by background, has spent more than 30 years with the company. He has held a variety of roles spanning technical delivery, operational management, sales and market solutions. Most recently he was head of sector for transportation in Europe, where he strengthened client relationships and advanced strategic priorities.

Jacobs executive vice president Keith Lawson described Sanderson as a “highly respected leader with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of collaboration”.

Sanderson said, “This is a hugely exciting time for Jacobs and it’s a privilege to lead such a talented team. We will continue to work with our clients, partners, and the wider industry to deliver sustainable, technology-enabled solutions across multiple sectors and markets.”

Kenny’s departure in July brought to an end her three-year spell as general manager for Europe and the UK. She started a new role as chief growth officer at AtkinsRéalis this month.
