Under the motto “on your site,” Liebherr is to showcase over 30 exhibits at next month’s ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, US, including the latest addition to its mobile crane range, the LTM 1100-5.3.

Described by Liebherr as “The master of all roads”, the machine has a 62m (203ft) telescopic boom and a 100-tonne maximum lifting capacity.

It can carry up to 16.9 tonnes (37,250 lbs) of ballast, with a 12-tonne (26,450 lbs) axle load on public roads.

The LTM 1100-5.3 will be on display alongside a range of other Liebherr cranes, including the LR 1400 SX crawler crane, the fast-erecting LRT 1130-2.1 from the K series and the company’s largest flat-top crane, the 470 EC-B.

The company’s mobile and crawler crane segment will also demonstrate a number of safety equipment and assistance systems.

At this year’s ConExpo, a larger demo area means Liebherr will showcase some of its machines in action. It will be the first time visitors will be able to see the machines in operation at the American show.

Although the company has not revealed all the machines that will be in action, the company will be displaying some of its most popular excavators.

From its Generation 8 series, both the R 924 and R 945A crawler excavator models - which were launched at ConExpo 2020, will be among the lineup.

More specialised models will include the A924 railroad excavator, which is making its North American debut alongside the PR 766 G8 crawler dozer.

Launched in September 2022, the A924 is able to be operated both on the road and on tracks.

It’s powered by a Liebherr D934 diesel engine, has a maximum operating weight of 26,500kg and is compliant with the Tier 4f emissions standard.

Elsewhere, the TA 230 Litronic articulated dump truck and the 36 XXT truck mounted concrete pump, as well as the LH 30 M Industry and LH 60 Industry Litronic material handlers Industry Litronic, will also be on show.

Liebherr said it would also display models from its Unplugged series of piling and drilling riggs, along with an array of safety and digital solutions, such as the Kelly visualization system for piling and rigging.
