As part of the agreement, Topcon will become an authorised distributor of Pix4D’s photogrammetry software, expanding access to advanced 3D mapping and reality-capture technologies.

The collaboration seeks to integrate Topcon’s precision positioning expertise with Pix4D’s photogrammetry software for the surveying, architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), infrastructure and public safety sectors.

Pix4D said, by leveraging Topcon’s global distribution network, customers will have streamlined access to its software alongside Topcon’s hardware solutions. The agreement is expected to improve access to integrated positioning and imaging solutions while ensuring end-users receive technical support through Topcon’s established channels.

“The integration of Topcon’s precision positioning technology with Pix4D’s photogrammetry expertise is another great example of the type of collaboration the geospatial industry has always thrived on,” said Murray Lodge, executive vice president of TPS.
