ConExpo saw the official introduction of Allu's two model M Series crushing buckets that have been designed for soft rock applications in the mining sector. The M33-20 and M3-32 have been tailored for use on excavators weighing from 50 to 80 tonnes and wheeled loaders from 30 to 60 tonnes, although they can be used on excavators up to 200 tonnes and larger wheeled loaders up to 130 tonnes subject to verification.
The result of a three year development programme they offer a cylinder force of 100 tonnes and feature a patented rear mounted bearing and drum construction. According to the company, crushing and loading is completed in a single step, reducing the need for buffer storage and material transport.
