Bergerat Monnoyeur returns to Intermat

Premium Content

French Caterpillar dealer Bergerat Monnoyeur returns to Intermat for the first time since 2012, taking 900m2 of the 2000m2 exhibition space of its parent company, Monnoyeur, alongside other Monnoyeur subsidiaries Arkance, Chrono Flex, GCS and Sitech.

The company said Intermat’s focus on sustainability and decarbonisation dovetails with its own strategy, and the business will use the show to focus on digitalisation, machine rebuilds and decarbonisation through electric machines and other low-emission products.

It will showcase the Cat Command remote operation system, which allows machines to be operated remotely from a safe workspace, and its Service Digitalisation offer, with subscriptions to Connectivity and Services, using machine connectivity, artificial intelligence and augmented reality to customers as part of the fleet management service.

These new technologies guarantee a full fleet connection with machine data, access to remote diagnostics, predictive and preventive maintenance. This includes access to a digital environment encompassing e-commerce site for spare parts, a customer area and reporting of mixed fleet data on VisionLink.

On the machine side, there will be five models on the booth, including the three battery-powered electric prototypes first seen at Bauma, namely the Cat 906 compact wheel loader, the Cat 950 GC medium wheel loader, and the Cat 301.9 mini excavator.

Bergerat Monnoyeur will also present its Cat Certified Rebuild Programme, illustrated by having a rebuilt D6 dozer on the stand. The programme reduces carbon emissions by giving a second life to a machine, with up to 90% of parts (by weight) reused. The company is completing 30 rebuilds a year in Belgium and France.
