The new structure will see its Equipment & Service division be led by Business Area President Jess Kindler, and Tools & Attachments headed by Business Area President José Manuel Sánchez. Both will be based in the US.

Kindler has more than 20 years in the Group, with experience in service and equipment roles globally. He holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

His most recent role was Senior Consulting Advisor, specialising in growth and excellence for global companies.

Sánchez has spent his entire career at Epiroc, most recently serving as Division President for the Epiroc Surface Division.

He holds a M.Sc. in Mining from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master of Marketing and Sales Management from Cerem International Business School.

Epiroc’s eight divisions will retain operational responsibility but will report to their respective Business Area Presidents instead of the CEO.

“This reporting structure will in the coming years support our high ambition of outperformance, with 8% annual revenue growth and market-leading profitability, as it will make us both faster and more effective in an ever-changing world,” said Helena Hedblom, President and CEO.

“The increased focus will mainly benefit our customers, as we can be even more precise and reliable when it comes to delivering our productivity-enhancing products and solutions. With these two appreciated leaders with strong track records onboard as Business Area Presidents, we will accelerate the transformation further.”

The organisational changes follow what the company describes as strong growth since its 2018 listing, during which revenues have risen 86% and more than 30 companies have been acquired.
