RMD Kwikform Doha Airport

RMD takes off in Doha Qatar’s Consolidated Contractors Company is using US$ 1.4 million of RMD Kwikform’s formwork solutions during construction of three service and maintenance tunnels at New Doha International Airport. The US$ 14 million tunnels are part of the airport’s US$ 1.97 billion Phase 1 construction. They will allow service and maintenance personnel to cross from one side of the airport to the other without disrupting its operation. The equipment, which was supplied by RMD’s Qatar branch, includes a specialist traveller system made up of RMD’s Superslim soldier beams and caster modules, Megashor heavy duty shoring for propping after the Alshor Plus lightweight aluminium shoring tables are removed. The Alshor Plus also features a quick release mechanism and wheeled attachments for simple movement.
