Tower crane rental and sales company XL-Kranlogistik has entered a partnership with Terex Tower Cranes and placed a major order.

Under the agreement Austria-based XL will represent Terex Tower Cranes in the country and has ordered 14 new cranes. Most of the new units will join the rental fleet but some are sold, Terex said.

XL already has Terex cranes in its fleet and the new ones will be delivered over the next six months. Models in the order include, CTL282, CTT91, CTT132, CTT202, CTT332 and CTT472.

A strong relationship

Peter Zauner, XL-Kranlogistik managing director, said, “Our relationship with the team at Terex Towers continues to go from strength to strength and we are delighted to formalise our partnership for Austria. The cranes we have bought previously have been very successful machines and have proved themselves to be reliable, robust and extremely versatile.

“In addition, the Terex service and support teams, along with their outstanding application engineering support – means we are completely satisfied and, therefore, it seemed only sensible to further expand our long-standing relationship with the Terex brand.”

Commenting from Terex Tower Cranes, Lee Maynard, global sales director, said, “As we continue on our strategy of growth and adding new partners around the world, XL-Kranlogistik is a welcome addition to the Terex family. This is a company that prides itself on providing quality products to their customers along with its commitment to safety and its personal customer service. These are all attributes we are proud to be associated with.”

The XL-Kranlogistik fleet includes top- and bottom-slewing tower cranes and truck mounted cranes.
