Romania, Italy and Belgium to participate in the development of small nuclear reactors

The UK government has selected six companies to advance to the next phase of a competition to design and build small modular reactors (SMRs) to generate nuclear power.

Britain has opened a competition to develop small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs), such as those being developed by Rolls-Royce, as it launched its new Great British Nuclear body designed to help drive the expansion of projects in the country.
