Cemex Ventures said it compiled the list through the lens of four strategic focus areas: sustainability, efficiency, agility and disruption.

“The startups featured in this year’s Top 50 Contech Startups list hail from around the global,” Cemex Ventures said, noting that international investment in construction technology has ticked up with each subsequent listing.

“Last year, contech investment totalled US$3.1 billion across 325 deals, marking an approximate 38% increase in the number of deals.”

The value of the aggregate was up 2.3% from 2023 to 2024.
