UK lifting equipment hire company LGH has launched an e-commerce site for ordering from its equipment range, and offering guaranteed next day delivery to any site in the UK.

LGH’s e-commerce site.

LGH offers lifting equipment for the construction, infrastructure, energy and utilities, petrochemical, marine, transport, offshore and waste sectors.

The company confirmed the site is aimed at small to medium sized businesses and larger clients.

It offers LGH’s range including hoists and modular spreader beams, hydraulic equipment and material handling.

Live product availability, accurate pricing, order history and next day delivery are features of the site.

“The core purpose is to give customers more choice, control and 24/7 convenience,” the company said in a statement.

“Creating an easy user experience has also been central to the launch” with the site designed to enable easy purchasing journeys and streamlined internal processes.

Rob Halliwell, Group Transformation Director, said: “LGH has been customer-centric since its inception so our move to online rental is a logical step in ensuring that we can add value for our customers through efficiency and ease.

The launch of the site - located at lgh.co.uk - was “about giving options, flexibility and most importantly choice to our customers,” he said.
