The companies will also collaborate on research and development projects and develop solutions for the cement, fertilizer, agriculture, and mining sectors, with a focus on energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and circular economy principles.

The partnership includes plans to explore investments in clean energy infrastructure, such as solar power generation facilities and charging stations.

XCMG chairman Mr. Dongsheng Yang and Dangote Group president and CEO Aliko Dangote said the partnership aligns with their respective strategies and objectives.

XCMG chairman Mr. Dongsheng Yang said, “We are honored to be selected as a strategic partner by the esteemed Dangote Group. This collaboration is a strong endorsement of our ‘Green and Intelligent Manufacturing’ strategy,”

“By combining our advanced technological capabilities with Dangote’s unmatched presence and vision across Africa, we are confident in our ability to significantly contribute to the continent’s sustainable industrial development.”

XCMG said the partnership is expected to increase the use of green technologies across Dangote Group’s operations and could serve as a model for integrating low-emission solutions into large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects in Africa.
