30 October 2024
Vanair, a Lincoln Electric Co. brand focused on mobile power solutions and related products, will debut its EPEQ Mobile Support Kit at the SEMA Show 2024 in Las Vegas, Nov. 5-8.
The Electrified Power Equipment (EPEQ) Mobile Support Kit is a battery-powered, fully self-contained, “bolt & go” system designed for electric or internal combustion engine vehicles to provide clean, quiet power with no fumes and substantially reduced noise, the company said, facilitating use in enclosed spaces such as vans and box trucks. The kit is powered by Vanair ELiMENT battery packs, which consist of two 48 V, 100-Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries with a 5,000-charge cycle life.
The EPEQ Mobile Support Kit features:
- 20 cfm of air power at 150 psi maximum, with dual-speed capability;
- power options that include a 3-kW 120VAC inverter and two 5-kW 240VAC inverters that offer up to 10 kW of pure sine wave inverter capacity;
- a built-in Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger with 9.6-kW max output and a 25-ft. cable for emergency EV charging;
- and the Smart Display System, a 7-in. IP 67-rated Smart LED display that enables monitoring of key metrics like state of charge, voltage levels and temperature.
The kit’s compact enclosure measures 60” L x 24” W x 30” H, enabling installation in pickup trucks or vans without compromising space. Its plug-and-play design allows for easy installation and operation, said Vanair, with a 120VAC shore power charger enabling recharging from standard outlets.
The entire package weighs 550 lb. and can be loaded via a forklift or small crane.
