The company said Turner Ventures would make investments in groundbreaking ideas in artificial intelligence (AI), green energy, and digitalization.

It will focus on two areas in particular:

ClimateTech: Companies with innovations in reducing carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and developing sustainable materials.

PropTech: Tools digitalizing workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and enhancing collaboration.

Jim Barrett, vice president and chief innovation officer at Turner, said, “Our industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and this shift compels us to invest in solutions that foster a more sustainable future.

“Through Turner Ventures, we’re backing mission-driven startups that share our commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship — giving them a powerful springboard for market adoption, while providing our clients and partners direct access to the next generation of promising technologies and tools.”
