TinyMobileRobots, a Danish-based robotics company and innovator in surveying technology, has announced the upcoming release of App version 9.9.0 and Robot Software version 9.9.6 for all TinySurveyor robots as of May 13, 2024.

The update introduces a Data Logging feature which provides users with additional capabilities, enabling the automatic logging of crucial data points during job execution.

This includes precise tracking of paint application on surfaces, logging of accuracy data from external GNSS equipment, recording of robot behavioru, and capturing survey points with static survey methods.

Moreover, users can format and export data in a user-defined .CSV format for integration with CAD and reporting software.

TinyMobileRobots says that one of the most notable advantages of this update is its ability to streamline quality control (QC) and reporting processes. Land surveyors, construction site operators, road construction teams, airport construction crews, and management personnel in large organisations will greatly benefit from the effortless collection of data for mandatory reporting and post-marking QC checks.

TinySurveyor adds that users will have comprehensive logging capabilities with the Data Logging feature, enabling them to achieve higher levels of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in their surveying operations.
