The strategic acquisition is said to be a significant milestone in TCE’s journey to build a global business.

Recognised as a leading firm in the industrial and oil and gas markets, CDI operates in both traditional and emerging energy markets, including battery materials, carbon capture, and low/zero-carbon fuels.

“This marks a transformative chapter in TCE’s growth story. The addition of CDI significantly enhances our global presence and strengthens our ability to deliver impactful engineering solutions across industries and geographies,” said L. Krishnakumar, Chairman of Tata Consulting Engineers.

“With a shared focus on innovation, sustainability, and client excellence, this partnership supports our vision of making meaningful contributions to economies and communities worldwide.”

The acquisition of CDI marks a deliberate step towards expanding TCE’s global footprint and scaling its expertise. In a press release, TEC said that the two organisations are well-positioned to help deliver clean energy transition, decarbonisation, and resilient infrastructure around the world.
