The M310 truck-mounted slurry seal and micro surfacing paver from Bergkamp allows operators to easily calibrate the machine, monitor production rates and simplify maintenance, according to the company.

The new M310 uses the Electronic Mix Control and Diagnostic (EMCAD) system that displays current and average material ratios, total material used and material rates – and can produce on-demand reports to track production for parts of or the entire job, via an onboard printer.

Operators can evaluate these printouts and make the necessary adjustments to more efficiently run the machine and calculate their bottom line, a spokesman for the company said.

He added, the system ties material ratios of aggregate, asphalt emulsion, water, additive and fines together with an electronic signal and automatically maintains the ratios with feedback loops.

According to the company even less experienced operators can quickly make adjustments during production without compromising the accuracy of the mix.
