A consortium led by Ed. Züblin, a subsidiary of contractor Strabag has been awarded a €100 million contract to build the Allianz Campus Unterföhring near Munich, Germany.

Züblin, which holds a 90% share of the contract, will be the general contractor for the project. It will work together with Munich-based Dobler Metallbau to construct the 58,000 m2 new building. Work will begin this month and is scheduled for completion by autumn 2015.

The campus, designed by Auer+Weber+Assoziierte of Munich, will consist of five floors above ground and two basement levels accommodating office/workspace, various social facilities for Allianz employees and an underground car park. A bridge will link the new building with the existing campus buildings.
