Foster + Partners has won an international competition to design a sustainable mixed-use scheme for Beach Road in Singapore.

The scheme will occupy an entire city block between the Marina Center and the Civic District, creating a 150000 m2 “eco-quarter” in downtown Singapore.

The scheme incorporates commercial, residential, shops and two hotels, as well as a direct link to the city's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network.
