Described by the equipment manufacturer as a “true economic wonder”, the tracked excavator features a Stage V compliant 53.7 kW Yanmar engine and has a digging depth of 4.5 m (14 ft 9in).

It offers multiple working modes that provide optimal performance while using the lowest possible amount of fuel. Sany said that this contributes to a lower cost of ownership.

It is available in Europe and Sany said, “The SY80U follows a clear concept – it offers performance, equipment, efficiency and, above all, the comfort of a large excavator in the compact class.”

The “multi-purpose” model is pre-equipped for common applications such as lifting heavy components. It also comes ready integrated with two auxiliary lines and hydraulics for the quick coupler.

For safety and durability, the SY80U includes cylinder guard plates, safety valves and emergency lowering as standard.

Inside the excavator’s low-vibration cab, the model is equipped with automatic climate control, a suspension seat and ergonomic controls for operator comfort.

A clear digital display and a USB radio are also included as standard.
