Less than a week to go: World Demolition Summit heads to Nashville

With just one week to go until the World Demolition Summit (WDS) opens its doors in Nashville, Tennessee, US, anticipation is building for what promises to be the event’s biggest edition yet.

Over 500 delegates from across the global demolition, recycling, and decommissioning sectors will gather at the Music City Center in downtown Nashville to share insights, network, and celebrate technical excellence and innovation.
For the first time, WDS will span three days, comprising an exclusive VIP Day, two days of conference sessions, and the World Demolition Awards & Gala Dinner on the evening of November 5.
The 2025 programme brings together a diverse speaker line-up, including Michele O’Rourke (O’Rourke Wrecking Company), Jason Curtsinger (Tennessee Valley Authority), Simon Hébert (Delsan-AIM), Kate Bester (Jet Demolition), and Ryan Priestly (Priestly Demolition Inc), alongside technical panels on technology, sustainability, and safety.
“This year’s programme reflects how far the industry has come in innovation and sustainability, and we’re proud to bring that global discussion to Nashville,” said Lewis Tyler, Editor of Demolition & Recycling International and Programme Organiser.
“The introduction of the VIP Day adds a new dimension to the Summit for delegates, creating more space for networking, knowledge sharing and engagement between contractors, suppliers and clients ahead of the main conference.”
WDS is organised by Demolition & Recycling International in partnership with the European Demolition Association (EDA), and supported by the US National Demolition Association (NDA) and the UK National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC).
