New tooth system reduces wear life

18 March 2008

Esco introduced the new SV2 mining and quarry tooth system in Europe earlier this year.

A range of tooth shapes is available and the system can be adapted to all popular mining and quarrying machines including front end loaders and hydraulic excavators, across all operating conditions.

A spokesman for the company said, "The (SV2) system is a direct result of listening to customer needs and investing in an intensive five-year product development project to ensure the new product meets these needs."

He added that the SV2 tooth system provides customers with a varied range of benefits, including: a hammerless locking system, increased tooth wear life, improved tooth retention and less downtime.

The ESCO SV2 system is currently available in sizes 65SV2, 85SV2, 75SV2 and 70SV2.
