Doosan Infracore Europe has added to its dealer network in France with the appointment of Somatec MTPI and Sofemat as Doosan dealers covering the east and west of the country.

The dealerships will offer the whole Doosan range across compact and heavy lines, including wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks and mini, crawler and wheeled excavators. Attachments, accessories, and spare parts available from Doosan will be offered.

Somatec MTPI in eastern France is a member of the Somatec group, which sells, rents and repairs equipment for the agricultural, construction and industrial markets. It has more than 135 employees, including 35 mobile engineers, and eight branches. It is now the Doosan distributor for the following departments: Meuse (55), Meurthe & Moselle (54), Moselle (57), Haut-Rhin (68) and Bas-Rhin (67), Haute-Saone (70) and the Vosges (88).

Sofemat in western France is a subsidiary of TPM Group, which distributes, services, repairs, and rents construction, handling and recycling equipment through nine branches. It is now Doosan’s distributor in Côte d’Armor (22), Finistère (29), Ile et Vilaine (35), Mayenne (53), Morbihan (56) and Sarthe (72).

Doosan confirmed that following market share gains in 2020, “the strengthening of the French dealer network in 2021 is intended to maintain this momentum and meet the many expectations of Doosan’s current and future customers in the construction and public works sectors.”

The new dealerships bring the number of Doosan independent dealers covering France and its overseas territories to 21.
