Manitou's bC India stand will feature machines from its Maniscopic, Maniaccess and Gehl ranges.

Manitou's stand will feature machines from its telescopic handler, access platform and skid steer loader ranges - three types of machine that are relatively unknown and little-used in India.

The company says it hopes Indian customers will see its Maniscopic telehandlers as a one-machine solution for the majority of material handling applications, including those carried out by pick & carry cranes, loaders, rough terrain forklifts and access platforms. It also added that the machines are suitable to other niche applications in tunneling, forestry and light earthmoving.

The access platform on display at bC India will be a 200 ATJ from the company's Maniaccess range. Features include a 20 m working height as well as four-wheel drive and self-diagnostic functions built into the control screen. Also on display will be a skid steer loader from the company's Gehl subsidiary.

Manitou has dealership agreements in India with Escorts, Dozco and Gemini.
