Manitou launches dedicated attachment provision

Premium Content

Manitou has announced a new offering dedicated to attachments.

Manitou Group Attachments

Manitou Group Attachments is intended to simplify the company’s attachment offering by bringing them under one brand name and is a continuation of its business-wide streamlining programme.

The renaming of the attachments business, previously under the banners of Edge and Manitou, follows the same process with its spare parts division earlier this year. Under the arrangement attachments designed in Italy, the US and India are adapted to the countries around the world that are targeted by the group.

In particular, Manitou Group Attachments is focused on the agriculture, construction, mining and logistics applications and will equip the forklifts, telehandlers, compact loaders, articulated loaders, and backhoe loaders manufactured across the company’s three brands, Manitou, Gehl, and MustangbyManitou.

It will be identified by a new logo on all 1,300 attachment references across 17 product categories.

Wim Roose, global product line manager for attachments, said, “Our goal is to respond to all of our users’ needs in a more coherent way. Providing a complete solution with quality service and the perfect attachment for their needs is our priority. Thanks to our design office, which is dedicated entirely to attachment design, we are able to respond to all requests, including on the niche markets.”
