LGMG has started manufacturing at its new plant in Mexico.

Located in Monterrey, Nuevo León state, LGMG Mexico, a subsidiary of the China-based OEM, the new aerial platform production plant is set to establish LGMG in the North American market and help accelerate its global expansion ambitions.

As part of its international development strategy, LGMG will offer sales, training, maintenance support and spare parts supply in the region. The company said, “From going abroad to integrating into local markets, LGMG’s internationalisation journey involves simultaneous efforts to localise production, while cultivating local talent, operations and services.

“The group aims to continuously enhance user value and satisfaction to inject more vitality into its global product strategy.”

At a ceremony held to celebrate the start of manufacturing at the plant, Governor of Nuevo León State, Samuel García, Secretary of Economy Iván Rivas, Chairman of LGMG Mr. Yu Mengsheng and Vice General Manager Mr. Shi Yanyu along with representatives of customers, suppliers, and partners from the American region, attended the inauguration ceremony. Together, they witnessed a fresh start for LGMG in Mexico.

In the future, LGMG said will continue to develop its internationally with a focus on representing local markets to, “become an important international player in the industry and continue making breakthroughs in the global expansion strategy.”
