Lawsons opens North American branch

Lawsons Global Recruitment has appointed Rob Miner as VP North America. He will launch Lawson’s North American operation as part of the company’s global expansion.

Part of KHL Group, Lawsons provides talent acquisition services to companies in the construction and power industries.

Miner is an experienced sales executive with a track record in talent acquisition and staffing services to corporations throughout the US.

He has managed and built sales, staffing, and recruiting teams for several of the top 100 US staffing firms.

Douglas MacDonald, Managing Director of Lawsons, said; “We are delighted to welcome Rob to the Lawsons team. The experience he brings with him will allow us to grow the opportunities that we offer to our US clients.

Outside of work, Miner is an avid boater. As a coast guard licensed captain, he has delivered yachts throughout the New England, New York and Chesapeake Bay areas. He teaches a powerboat course for the Navy at Naval Station Norfolk.

Miner also shares his experiences as a Gold Star Dad with several organizations that support other Gold Star families. He is an Honorary Board Member and Director of Corporate Partnerships with the Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, an Outreach Coordinator for Point27 Organization, and a Survivor Advocate for the Navy Survivor Advisory Working Group.
