KBR wins Dallas Airport upgrade contract

18 November 2010

KBR has won a task order contract to provide programme and construction management services for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport's US $1.7 billion upgrade project.

The US engineering, procurement and construction company will work together with architect Freese & Nichols (F&N) and engineer Chiang, Patel & Yerby (CPY) to upgrade four of the airport's original terminals and make improvements to the public access and operations sides of the airport.

KBR said the agreement has a base contract period of three years with five option years.

Texas-headquartered KBR has collaborated with F&N and CPY on projects at the airport in the past, including the Skylink Automated People Mover and the Perimeter Taxiway.
