JLG will be showing its 1500SJ Ultra Boom at Intermat – pictured is the first machine sold into Eastern Europe to Industrial Access Romania

JLG is showing the 510AJ manufactured in its new Romanian factory at Intermat alongside the 1500SJ and 340AJ launched last year.

The 510AJ boom lift with a working height of 17.81m is specifically designed and produced for the European market. The machine is designed for use in confined locations and can be set up and re-positioned quickly in narrow, compact spaces.

The 1500SJ is a telescopic boom lift that elevates operators to 45.72m the telescoping jib, which can extend up to 7.62m, provides work envelope flexibility. The Ultra Boom range is also represented with an articulating model, the 1250AJP.

Unveiled as a prototype at SAIE, Italy in October 2010, the compact 340AJ boom lift offers a working height of 12.35m with a horizontal outreach of 6.07m, meeting the demand for a broad range of applications. The jib extends to 1.2m with near vertical operation. Off-road performance is ensured by the standard oscillating axle and 4WD.

JLG is still being cagey about revealing the nature of the new safety device it will show at Intermat. With other manufacturers and rental companies bringing crush prevention systems to the market Access International speculates that it might be something in this field but has no confirmed facts to back this up.
