LGMG opens new headquarters

China-based LGMG has officially relocated to its new headquarters in Jinan. The building covers an inside area of 2.85 hectares and can accommodate approximately 1,500 employees.

A ceremony was held on 17 September to mark the milestone, attended by Jinan government officials, senior leaders of Lingong Group, LGMG Chairman Yu Mengsheng, LGMG CEO Simon Zhang, LGMG CSO Zhi Kaiyin and more than 400 employee representatives.

Since its establishment in 2012, LGMG has grown into a significant player in the construction machinery industry. Today, the company is focusing on digitalization as its core driver in equipment design, it announced during the ceremony, through deepening its commitment to electrification and intelligent technologies and its ‘Efficiency First, Technology Leading’ approach to product development.

“By continuously strengthening management and technological innovation, LGMG is accelerating the progress of smart manufacturing and moving steadily toward its goal of becoming a globally recognized industry leader,” said the company. 

Simon Zhang, CEO of LGMG, added, “We extend our gratitude to the local government and our global customers for their ongoing support. We will strive for new achievements from this new starting point, continue to deliver high-quality products and comprehensive solutions, and create greater values to global customers and community.”

Chairman Yu Mengsheng said the the relocation to the new building represented a vital step in expanding LGMG’s footprint and enhancing its company strategy. “It embodies our commitment to global customers and serves as an important window into LGMG’s journey toward becoming a first-class international enterprise.”

With the new headquarters now in operation, LGMG will hold its First Global Customer Festival at the location, 26–27 September.
