Alongside its hydrogen developments, the company will exhibit a complete JCB Powertrain model, including a diesel engine, transmission, and axles. The driveline package is based on JCB’s 448 Stage V engine and is available to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) either as a complete unit or as separate components to suit different machine specifications.

Engine and driveline specialists from JCB Powertrain will be present throughout the event to discuss technical and commercial aspects with manufacturers and customers.

JCB has also been developing a hydrogen combustion engine, which has received approval from 11 European licensing authorities for commercial use in machinery. The company is conducting real-world trials of hydrogen-powered equipment at customer sites, with testing said to be at an advanced stage.
