Intermat, the triennial construction equipment exhibition held in Paris, is to have a new layout for the next event in April 2015.

Halls 3 and 4 at the Villepinte site will no longer be used for the event but a new hall, Hall 7, will be added. The show organiser, ComExposium, is also taking the opportunity to re-work the show’s product groupings.

What ComExposium describes as its “traditional” exhibition areas;- the outside demonstration areas, halls 5A, 5B and 6 will remain as core elements of the show. The new hall, Hall 7, which was opened in 2010 covers 15,000 m2 and will feature concrete equipment, lifting and handling, site equipment and materials processing. Overall around 2,000 m2 of exhibition space will be added.

According to the organisers, the new Intermat layout is designed to “Make a long-lasting improvement to the presentation,” and, “Will also give visitors a smoother visiting experience between the halls and the exterior demonstration zones.”

ComExposium added, “The new show layout is also the opportunity to further promote the new developments of the exhibition, including the extension of the product and service range on offer. The event will be reinforced with new exhibitors displaying offers dedicated to concrete and its applications, building and worksite equipment, handling and lifting.”

“The show will also highlight the sector of demolition combined with materials re-use and recycling, particularly topical subjects given the importance of protecting natural resources and complying with lower pollution levels during the installation of work sites.”

  • Intermat is changing its website from www.intermat.fr to www.intermatconstruction.com.
  • Intermat 2015 takes place in Paris between April 20 – 25, 2015.
