Hillhead sold out

All exhibitor space at this year’s Hillhead show in the UK has been taken, with more than 460 exhibitors set to attend.

Taking place from 28 to 30 June, 2016, at Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire, UK, the show will have a new outdoor area at the southern end of the site and an extended registration pavilion.

The organisers promise more live demonstrations than before in four dedicated areas.

The Quarry Face will host large excavators and faceshovels (40-plus tonnes), hydraulic breakers, large wheeled loaders (buckets of 4m³ and above), and rigid and articulated dumptrucks. Exhibitors will include Volvo, Caterpillar, JCB, Bell, Doosan, Hyundai, Liebherr, Komatsu, Miller, Case, Worsley Plant, Hitachi and Terex Trucks.

The Rock Processing area operated in Crusher Alley will showcase the latest tracked and skid-mounted crushers, screens, scalping grids and stockpiling conveyors from manufacturers including Terex Finlay, Sandvik, Powerscreen, Tesab, QM&S and McCloskey.

The Recycling area to the south of the site will show a range of crushing, shredding, screening and washing equipment, using material imported on to the site including general C&D waste, reject concrete blocks, waste asphalt and brick rubble. Among others, Haulmark, Maximus, Baughans, Herbst, Warwick Ward and Engcon will demonstrate their latest equipment, alongside JCB.

The registration area will combine both rock processing and recycling demonstrations. Highlights are expected to include the MDS International heavy-duty M515 Track Trommel (50 tonnes), together with various excavators, crushers and screens from Red Rhino Crushers, Rockster, CGCS, Global Construction Plant, SMP Parts, Buntons, Sany (TDL Equipment) and many others.
