First tower tops out at Keppel Bay
29 March 2010
The first of six Daniel Libeskind-designed towers at the Reflections at Keppel Bay, Singapore development has topped out.
Tower 1A, the first of six glass towers to be completed in the waterfront residential development, is a 41-storey, concrete structure with glass curtain wall cladding
The development comprises six glass towers (three towers with 41 storeys, three with 24) and 11 villa apartment blocks featuring 1129 luxury waterfront apartments along a 750 m shoreline, all with views of the bay, golf course, lush parks and Mount Faber.
The development is also "ecologically responsible", according to the developer Keppel Land, having achieved a Green Mark Gold Award from the country's Building and Construction Authority in 2008.
The towers will be crowned by "lush sky gardens", and are linked by sky bridges that provide "pockets of open spaces" and 360° viewing platforms.
