The portable unit, part of Earthcam’s 2026 construction camera lineup, combines live-streaming video, pan-tilt-zoom control, 500-megapixel panoramas, and environmental sensors.

Its 360° imaging, which is paired with AI software, is designed to analyse jobsite activity, track construction materials, and assess safety compliance.

Meanwhile, Earthcam’s Pano VI technology, now optimised for indoor environments, identifies and annotates materials and objects in ultra-high-resolution panoramic images.

According to the company, the system can detect and classify more than 35 types of construction materials, and recognise over 85 objects including equipment, personal protective equipment, ladders, and workers at height.

Data can then be integrated with project management platforms such as Procore and Autodesk Build.

Each unit includes an Air Health sensor that measures ten environmental conditions, including carbon dioxide, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), temperature, and humidity.

The data can support safety documentation and environmental compliance during construction.

The Mobile StreamCam Robotic also features 4G/5G connectivity, battery backup, continuous 4K recording, and time-lapse functionality, while operators can scan entire rooms or focus on specific details to document progress, verify work, and support dispute resolution.
