The latest line of excavators, dump trucks and loaders from Doosan will be on show for the first time later this month at the ScotPlant 2022 Exhibition in Scotland.

Doosan authorised dealer James Gordon Ltd will introduce visitors to the new DX140LC-7 14.6 tonne crawler excavator, the DX100W-7 10.7 tonne wheeled excavator, the DL420CVT-7 wheel loader and the DA30-7 articulated dump truck (ADT).

Power improvement for medium-sized excavators

DX140LC-7, the new range of medium-sized excavators are powered by the Doosan D34 4-cylinder Stage V diesel engine.

The DX140LC-7, which is part of Doosans new ‘DX-7’ range of 17 Stage V crawler and wheeled excavator models, ranges from 14 to 25 tonne and offers a variety of tools and new features that can improve performance.

The DX140LC-7 focuses on power improvement, whilst also improving on robustness and fuel efficiency.

Another aspect that has been improved is the need for maintenance of the diesel particulate filter (DPF), which has been reduced compared to previous models.

Stage V compliant mini-excavators

Also on show will be the next generation range of mini-excavators, available in 2.8 tonne, 3.9 tonne, 5.4 tonne and 5.7 tonne. All models are Stage V compliant.

Each model (DX27Z-7, DX35Z-7, DX50Z-7 and the DX55R-7) has improved on their respective working range, digging and lifting.

High performance wheeled excavator

Another new addition to the Doosan range is the 10 tonne weight class for the DX100W-7 wheeled excavator. The excavator is equipped with the option of four wheel steering, as well as the standard two wheel steering.

Increased wheel loader productivity and efficiency

To add to the list of wheel loaders by Doosan, the DL420CVT-7 is also set to feature at this year’s ScotPlant.

The wheel loader provides higher productivity, increased fuel efficiency and low cost of ownership.

The Scania DC09 engine within the DL420CVT-7 meets Stage V emission regulations through the use of selective catalyst reduction, diesel oxidation catalyst and diesel particulate filter (DPF) after-treatment technologies.

The Doosan DA30-7 ADT

With an engine that is powered by the Scania Stage V compliant DC09 9 litre diesel engine, and a 28 tonne payload, the DA30-7 ADT comes with a wide range of upgrades such as a new self-levelling front suspension and a new tandem bogie system.

ScotPlant 2022 Exhibition takes place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh from 22-23 April 2022.
