Digital software identifies defective infrastructure

Twinsity, a company that focuses on the digital inspection of immovable assets, has launched Twinspect — a software solution that fully digitises the drone inspection process.

The cloud-based system behind the software identifies and analyses defective areas using real-time visualisation of objects. The software platform ensures efficient processing of the inspection data, says Twinsity.

In addition, the software automates the detection of existing damage and consequently minimises the risk and burden on people and materials.

The Germany-based company says that machine learning technologies enable the continuous optimisation of Twinspect’s detection and analysis system in terms of precision and speed.

Precision measurements down to the millimetre are taken directly in the 3D model, adds the company, resulting in an automatically generated inspection report with visual documentation and trend analysis.
