Dates and venue announced for Bauma Africa

The first Bauma Africa exhibition will take place from 18 to 21 September 2013 at the Gallagher Convention Centre (GCC) in Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to organiser Messe München International (MMI) GCC is one Africa's largest conference and expo centres, offering well equipped exhibition halls and outdoor exhibition space. MMI says it expects the first show to take up at least 20000 m2 of exhibition space, with 200 companies expected to take part. Visitor numbers are expected to exceed 15000 people, predominantly from sub-Saharan Africa.

Exhibitor registration for Bauma Africa 2013 starts in June 2012, but details of prices and a pre-registration forms are now available online at www.bauma-africa.com. The deadline for receipt of applications is 6 December 2012.

MMI also organises the Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai and is a co-organiser of the bC India exhibition in Mumbai. Its parent company, Messe München GmbH is responsible for the Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany.
