Cyprus military job for Carillion

UK-based contractor Carillion has been awarded the contract to design and build a new communications facility in Cyprus for the UK’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
The project involves the construction of a single storey building, approximately 10,000m2 in area, with temperature- and humidity-controlled environments.
Construction will start in April 2017 and is expected to be completed by the end of January 2019.
Carillion CEO Richard Howson, said, “We look forward to building on the strong relationship we have with the DIO as we work closely together to deliver this important new facility.”
The DIO’s role involves supporting the UK armed forces by building, maintaining and servicing the infrastructure needed to support defence.
