According to reports, Koh Brothers Eco Engineering, in a 20% joint venture with Ssangyong Engineering & Construction and Daewoo Engineering & Construction, has won a contract to construct a medical centre in Singapore, which will be the country’s first ‘smart’ hospital. 

The deal is thought to be worth SGD$740 million (US$564) and the contract has been awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Health.

The Woodlands Health Campus will be Singapore’s first smart hospital campus and will be built on a 76,600 m² site. The project will be composed of eight hospital buildings, each seven floors high above ground and four below. There will be a total of 1,800 beds.

The construction is expected to take under three years to complete.
