Colas Group appoints new group vice president

William Bouygues has been appointed Group Vice President of Industries for the Colas Group, effective June 1, 2025.

Bouygues report to CEO Pierre Vanstoflegatte and serve as a member of the Colas Strategic Committee. Since 2024, he has held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Property Development Subsidiaries at Bouygues Immobilier, both in France and internationally.

In his new role as Group Vice President of Industries, William Bouygues will be responsible for defining the Colas “Bitumen” Roadmap. He will oversee the creation and implementation of a sustainable industrial strategy to support the development of Colas’s Bitumen activities and its key commercial brands, which include Continental Bitumen Limited, McAsphalt, SAMI, and TIPCO. Additionally, he will monitor performance metrics.

Bouygues began his career in 2011 with Bouygues Construction, working within the Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France - Rénovation Privée teams as a works supervisor before transitioning to the sales department. In 2016, he joined Bouygues Bâtiment International, where he was part of the structure and development teams.
