Cemex EMEA welcomes new regional president

José Antonio began his career at Cemex in 2000 and has since held various positions in strategic planning, operations, and trade. 

For the past six years, he has served as the General Director of Cemex Cluster Caribe, which includes the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

As President of Cemex EMEA, Antonio will build on the initiatives of the previous President, Sergio Menéndez.

His priorities will include fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors, enhancing customer satisfaction through a focus on customer-centric practices, and pursuing decarbonisation goals to reduce emissions across the value chain.

Cemex says that Antonio will focus on promoting innovation to make progress toward carbon neutrality. He will also work on supporting financial growth through sustainability initiatives and strategic financial strategies, ensuring the region remains relevant in the company’s portfolio.
