Case's excavator focus

Case will be showing the new mass excavation version of its 70 tonne CX700B crawler excavator. The new design features a shorter dipper that offers +19% more digging force, while keeping the digging depth at a respectable 7.1 m and the overall reach at 11.6 m.
Case Special Excavators meanwhile has developed scrap loader and materials handling versions of the 21 tonne CX210B crawler excavator, building on the success of the CX240B MH material handler launched last year.
Both new machines use the same 6.8 m main boom. However, while the CX210B MH is equipped with a 4.8m straight arm, for use with sorting grapples in waste, timber and garbage handling operations, the CX210B SL has a 5.2m gooseneck arm for mass movement of industrial waste. This provides the two machines with forward reaches of 11.3 m and 11.6 m respectively.
