Bentley Systems acquires AI data collection company

Bentley Systems has officially acquired Blyncsy, a company specialising in delivering revolutionary artificial intelligence solutions tailored for transportation departments.

These solutions are aimed at enhancing operations and maintenance activities. The addition of Blyncsy is said to align with Bentley’s strategic focus on the digital twin ecosystem within its iTwin Ventures portfolio.

Blyncsy’s AI services are said to eliminate the need for labour-intensive and time-consuming manual data collection. This significantly reduces reliance on personnel, specialised vehicles, or field hardware. Simultaneously, it enhances the awareness of transportation owner-operators and mitigation of road conditions.

The company says that Blyncsy’s technology can detect more than 50 different roadway safety concerns, including pinpointing the precise locations of active construction work zones.
