bC India on track

December’s bC India construction equipment exhibition in Delhi, India is expected to take up 120,000 m2 of exhibition space according to the organisers. This will make it about the same size as the last bC India.
The show will be held for the third time from December 15 – 18 this year at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida / Delhi. It will be its first time in Delhi, having previously been held in Mumbai in 2013 and 2011. The inaugural show took up 88,000 m2, and grew to 120,000 m2 in 2013 when it welcomed 28,000 visitors.
Igor Palka, CEO of organiser, bC Expo India said, "We understand that, despite all the positive signs, the Indian market is still struggling at this time, but we are very optimistic that a number of other companies will register to exhibit at the fair before it opens."
According to bC Expo India, among the companies signed-up for this year’s exhibition are ACE, Ammann, Aquarius, Bauer, BKT, Bomag, Herrenknecht, Kobelco and Liebherr,Linnhoff, Liugong, JLG, Potain, Puzzolana, Sany, Schwing Stetter, Spartan, Terex, Volvo Penta, Wirtgen and Zoomlion. It added that there would also be strong representation from the formwork and scaffolding sector, with Doka, KumKang, Layher, Peri, Pranav and Ulma also confirmed.
There will also be of seven national pavilions at bC India, from China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the UK and US.
Mr Palka said, "The support of our international partners and their commitment demonstrate that India is still extremely interesting for companies from around the world. I am convinced that the market will pick up again and that we will be able to offer our exhibitors and visitors a first-rate exhibition in December."
