Despite volcanoes, cancelled planes, delayed trains and traffic jams the 29th Bauma International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, has opened.

Organizers say the 555000 m² (5.98 million ft²) show is expected to attract over 500000 visitors despite the travel chaos engulfing much of Europe.

The KHL team is also at Bauma, and if you have managed to make it to the show please stop by and say hello, we're in Hall B3, Stand 400.

KHL will publish a Bauma Daily e-newsletter directly from the KHL newsroom at the exhibition reporting all the product launches and big news as it happens.

Register for your own FREE copy to ensure that you keep up-to-date with the breaking news from the World’s largest construction exhibition with over 3000 exhibitors and an expected 500000 visitors!
