The company said structural engineering work for the administration building is complete and the shell erected.

“In the next few weeks, the façade work and the interior fittings will be completed,” Develon said, adding it expects to create 40 new permanent jobs at the complex.

In addition to large workshop spaces and an office building, a modern customer and training centre is also being constructed, Develon said. It’s expected the latest generation rental fleets will also be housed there.

Andreas M. Lohner, managing director of Develon Germany and sales manager for Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe, said, “We see our goal of consistently expanding the business step by step literally growing every day and are looking forward to welcoming customers and retailers on site from next year. This also includes, for example, the German-language training courses at Bauma.”

Construction is expected to last through this year with the facility scheduled to open in 2025.
