Santiago chosen for first Conexpo Latin America in 2015

The US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced plans to hold the first Conexpo Latin America exhibition in Santiago, Chile in October 2015. Following the signing of a letter of intent with the Chilean Chamber of Construction, the plan is to co-locate the new exhibition with the Chamber’s existing Edifica exposition.
The show will be launched as an annual event, but in the future this timing may be changed. According to the AEM, the exhibition’s location will rotate between the Northern and Southern part of the South American continent.
The AEM added that a managing committee of exhibitors and other industry stakeholders will be set up to guide the strategic direction of the show.
