Egis buys UK-based construction cost and project management company

Global architectural, advisory, consulting and construction engineering company Egis has acquired UK-based cost and project management consultancy Thomas & Adamson.

Egis said that the deal to buy Thomas & Adamson, based in Edinburgh, would enhance its project management and advisory capabilities for clients across the UK and Middle East.

Thomas & Adamson, founded in 1935, has 100 staff across the UK and United Arab Emirates and supports clients with procurement, delivery and operation of buildings in sectors including commercial, education, sports and hotels.

Alaa Abusiam, chief executive officer at Egis in the Middle East & South Asia, said, “We are excited to have the talented team from Thomas & Adamson join Egis to further elevate our expertise in project management and cost consultancy. They will allow Egis to continue to grow our capabilities. Combining their regional strength in cost management in the region with out strong portfolio of project management we will strengthen and develop our client offering to deliver integrated solutions.”
