Italian access equipment manufacturer CTE has expanded its sales team for the north of Italy region, with the addition of two new area managers.

Described as an “important strategic change”, the manufacturer has appointed Gianluca Ibba and Moris Locatelli to the newly-created roles in a move designed to maximise its sales in the region.

Ibba, who has several years of experience in the aerial platform sector, will oversee the manufacturer’s equipment sales and manage key accounts for Piedmont, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta and the Lombard provinces of Como and Lecco.

Ibba will work alongside Moris Locatelli who, in addition to experience in the aerial lifting industry, has also previously worked in the earthmoving sector.

Locatelli will be responsible for the provinces of Lombardy, Italian Switzerland, and the Emilia provinces of Parma and Piacenza.

Locatelli, CTE area sales manager, said, “I am very happy and very motivated for this new professional adventure in CTE, which I consider stimulating and challenging.

“I will continue my professional growth path and I will try to bring what I have learned in my various work experiences as an important baggage to strengthen the presence of CTE in my areas”.

CTE’s expansion of its customer care team comes following a number of recent investments to both its distributor network and its product lines.

In May of last year the company introduced the upgraded B-Lift 23 HV telescopic lift model to the European market and, in October, it announced a new US distribution deal with Innovativ Hoisting.

While the end of 2020 saw CTE launch the first model of its new Traccess equipment series, 2021 began with the release of the upgraded ZED 20.4 truck mount.
